Daniel is a dreamer, an idealist. He has a boyish curiosity and a love of humanity and life. He's driven to search out the best in people, and he has a very romantic viewpoint when it comes to history, life, love and people. He's the consummate optimist. He's always looking for answers - for what made us who we are today, what we've learned, what we can learn from others around us. At the same time looking for a home he can call his own, a place where he can hang his hat. Michael's character, Dr. Daniel Jackson (and various versions of him), was killed in three different episodes during the eighth season of Stargate SG-1 alone: Avatar,;Reckoning Part 2 and Moebius Part 2 He was also shot several times, severely injured and tortured during the season Michael played three different characters in a single episode of Stargate SG-1: Dr. Daniel Jackson, Thor and Penegal in the second half of the Season Eight premiere ;New Order Part II.
